Speedwatch Volunteers Needed

Image result for speed signs uk  The Community Speedwatch group for this area run by Neil Ellis from Spexhall Parish Council is looking for volunteers to help monitor vehicle speeds around the local area.

Volunteers are trained to use speed indicator devices which display vehicle speeds.  The registered owner of any vehicle seen exceeding the speed limit is sent an advisory letter by the Police, explaining that speeding is unacceptable to the local community and asking them to be more considerate.

The Community Speedwatch scheme trains volunteers from members of the community to get actively involved in monitoring the speed of vehicles travelling through their neighbourhood.

If you would be interested in volunteering please contact Neil Ellis on 07986 435229 or email nae371@btinternet.com
