The sun was shinning on the 29th May for the celebration of the new children's play area in Halesworth. The event was well supported by local organisations and businesses. There was a BBQ run by Halesworth Lions and Dynamo Disco playing games with the children. Melons greengrocers were selling strawberries and cream, fresh fruit salads and juices. Marmalade had a stall selling children's clothes and toys. Making the most of the sunshine was an ice cream van. There was also a cake stall and Sweets Galore providing sweet treats. ey Parker ran 3 stalls raising money for the Blayze’ing Star Charity. The park played host to Beach Radio who bought along the famous Beach Bunny, who the children adored. Throughout the day the park was really busy and children had a wonderful time. Thank-you to all those who supported the event.
