Halesworth Town Council would like to congratulate everyone involved with the Halesworth Day of Dance held on Saturday the 2nd April, 2022 and also the Halesworth Twinning Association for their hospitality and assistance in welcoming our friends from our twin town, Eitorf, Germany. The Chair, Cllr Rosemary Lewis, opened the event in the Market Place on a cold but beautifully sunny day and the town was treated to a wonderful display of colours and costumes. This year the town welcomed for the first time; the energetic and flamboyant Eitorf dance troop, KG Närrische Stadtsoldaten Eitorf e.V. von 1912, joining around 30 dance groups who entertained the town throughout the day, culminating in a folk dance at the Holton Village Hall.
