The safety gates have now been installed at the station.
Keeping the crossing open was only a temporary reprieve. Please can all crossing users adhere to Network Rail's guidelines on using the crossing. The Town Council will be installing reminder signs in the hope that no one will give Network Rail a reason to close the crossing permanently.
